Oh come on...

...Dracorex hogwartsia?

I'm not even kidding. Kudos to the Children's Museum of Indianapolis for the picture.

Seriously, Dr. Bakker? Harry Potter? That thing looks way to badass for Harry Potter. Then again, it was an herbivore, and possibly harmless, but still. You could have named it something cool like it's relative, Stygimoloch (which I believe translates into "guardian of the gates of hell"), but no. Dracorex. Hogwartsia. Even Pachycephalosaurus, which is an absolute pain to say, sounds cooler. If you want a technical despcription of this scary looking thing, check out the abstract here. I would suggest reading it because it is fascinating, but it takes a bit of time for your brain to chew on. That and it was published in the New Mexico Museum of Natural History bulletin. Rock on New Mexico, rock on. Hopefully it turns out to just be an infant Pachycephalosaur. That would be a relief.

Jam ("peace" in Fula),
Sam

P.S. There is a new poll to the right!

Wow...
That thing is so awesome looking. I can't believe they actually named it after Harry Potter. I mean, nothing against Harry Potter but that thing is just way too awesome for a name like that. Wow.

Freakin' Harry Potter. Now he's responsible for 65 million years worth of intellectual damage. Figures.
